Last week we headed up to London for the day to create a gorgeous dried flower installation for our client and we wanted to share it with you...

Canada Water is a whole new area in London currently in the making and it looks like it is set to be absolutely amazing. Think Dubai marina... well kind of! We were asked to transform one of the marketing suites there with a floral installation which needed a little something to make the gorgeous interiors pop.

We designed sections of dried flower meadows to fill empty planters. Once the interior designers decided on their colour palette of neutrals, greens and reds we could then carefully pick our stems. We went from structured desert to natural meadows. The latter really fitted in with the lake surroundings. The meadows we created looked as if they could be naturally growing around the water.

Each meadow consisted of eucalyptus, limonium, statice, gyp, red beech, bupleurum, scabiosa seed heads and honesty in the colour palette. We built different length sections to make things look more organic.

The result was just as we hoped. The space instantly popped and looked complete. The client was very happy which of course makes us happy. 'It looks completely fabulous! The result is completely brilliant.'

We can't want to be back in London and be back on more installations soon!
