Kayleigh and Aaron finally became ‘The Poolman’s’ on the most gorgeous summers day back in July at the beautiful Pennard House in Glastonbury. This was our first time styling the venue and we are so grateful Kayleigh chose us as her wedding florist as we simply fell in love with this venue just outside of Bristol and are now proud to say that we are one of their recommended wedding suppliers. Plus, I don’t think we have ever been so grateful for amazing air con as we were on that day!

Kayleigh first contacted Isabloom back in 2019 after discovering us on Facebook and we had some Covid stress and cancellations to go through together like most brides at this time, but we got there in the end and as you can see from the images it was worth the wait! Kayleigh and Aaron managed to get married just as restrictions dropped also so they were so over the moon to be surrounded by their loved ones. Kayleigh had quite a clear vision of what she wanted with a love of boho style, peonies and pampas grass! We decided on a beautiful wedding flower collection of fresh summer blooms in classic greens and whites combined with neutral dried grasses with a touch of copper dried grass which just worked so beautifully with Kayleigh in her amazing dress and stunning red hair. The bohemian wedding flower style also just leant itself perfectly to the venue.

Kayleigh’s bridal bouquet was created in an oversized natural style and was simply bursting with texture, by the looks of the pictures she didn’t want to put it down. Kayleigh got married just in time for us to include her favourite peonies and they really did steal the show. Her lovely bridesmaids were also in white and had a smaller and simpler version of her bouquet. The button holes we created with just greenery and dried grasses so that they could be kept by the groom’s party.

Kayleigh had dreamed of getting married outside so we were all praying for good weather and boy did she get it! We were going to decorate the outdoor ceremony structure with a flower arch but Pennard House have kept it beautifully we greenery and a rose bush growing around so we simply added our milk urns filled with blooms in front of it and these were then moved to the stable entrance where the reception took place. They really did add something special to the ceremony.

Inside the stables there is a beautiful old staircase which is a main feature, so we decorated the staircase going all the way up with the wedding flowers which led to where the reception dinner took place. We decorated the tables with large jars of flowers and pampas grass, along with adding foliage to the ceiling beams and creating a beautiful foliage garland along the top table.

We had so much fun working on Kayleigh and Aarons wedding and are so happy they finally tied the knot in just the way they wanted to. They even got to go on the most incredible honeymoon to Canada and Barbados. We aren’t jealous at all! We wish you all the love for the future. Stay in touch.

Kayleigh 'The most amazing flowers a girl could ask for. Still speechless every time I look at them!'

Issy was the first and only person i had met with for a consultation to discuss my wedding flowers! I had already seen her style on Facebook and Instagram and knew that she was the florist for me! we discussed the colours and flowers that i liked and explained that i wanted a bohemian yet classic vibe for my day. when the proposal came through i was so excited to see how Issy would put it all together to create my vision. WELL.....when my bouquet was presented to me just before i was ready to walk down the isle, i was speechless! I couldn't believe they were actually my wedding flowers....it was the biggest most beautiful arrangement i had ever seen...the happy tears had started! I always knew i wanted the flowers to steal the day and Issy definitely made that happen. The venue looked even more breathtaking once Isabloom had taken over...the staircase and milk churns were stunning! I have been overwhelmed with compliments about the flowers, they were everything and more. Thank you again Isabloom!
