Meghan and Tom had a gorgeous private and intimate affair with their loved ones on Tom's family farm in the beautiful Wincanton countryside and even the cows turned up to celebrate their wedding day!

Like many of our couples this year Meghan and Tom incurred extra stress with Covid postponements and with many of Meghan's family travelling from the US she of course wanted to make sure as many of them could be there as possible. Thankfully it all worked out for them for their rearranged date this summer minus a few guests sadly and we were able to accommodate their new date as their chosen wedding florist.

Both the ceremony and the reception took place on the farm. The weather was on their side and they tied the knot in front of a gorgeous flower garden, under our flower arch in the sunshine. They then moved on to the marquee which they had decorated beautifully theirselves.

Megan wanted to keep the wedding flowers lovely and seasonal and quite classic in whites and greens with an added splash of colour in tones of purple. The summer flower collection included; roses, clematis, dahlias, hydrangea, stocks, delphinium, astrantia, wax flower and a mix of seasonal foliage.

For Meghan's bridal bouquet and her bridesmaids bouquets we wanted to keep the flowers very natural to fit in with the surroundings with lots of added texture. Here at Isabloom, if the brief allows we love using a variety of flowers in all different shapes and sizes for our wedding bouquets to create the most interesting textures for the eye to enjoy.

With any reception venue it is truly amazing how the flowers transform it, but with a marquee you just cannot beat adding lots of gorgeous flowers all around. The white backdrop needs to be bought alive. Even the way the flowers fill the space with scent is just sensational. For Meghan's round tables we added bottles and jars bursting with blooms in the centre of each table and decorated the cake table along with providing the stems for the lovely cake ladies to decorate their creation.

We had so much fun on the farm dressing Megan and Tom's wedding with all the flowers and were pretty gutted when we had to take down the gorgeous flower arch two days on as it looked perfect! We wish them all the love for the future and hope to see them soon.

Meghan "Working with Isabelle and the team was a dream. I didn't know much about flowers or what you would traditionally have at a wedding outside of a bouquet and some centre pieces - Isabelle was able to level set all of the consult sessions so I felt informed but not overwhelmed.

The flowers themselves were stunning - so many people came up to me just to talk about the flowers. They stayed gorgeous for days afterwards and my mother-in-law was so excited to take some home."
