The newly married Mr and Mrs K tied the knot on the 27th October at Cadbury House; a Double Tree by Hilton Hotel and they chose Isabloom Floral Design as their wedding florist. It was a stunning autumnal day with clear blue skies and crisp air.

I first met with Sam earlier in the year to discuss all things weddings and flowers. Sam had quite a clear image of what she wanted. As her bridesmaids were going to be in a combination of soft grey and blush pink, Sam really wanted to incorporate blush tones into the wedding flowers along with classic and timeless ivories and greens. Sam really loved peonies which were in all of the images she had saved but unfortunately they would be out of season by October. I discussed some alternative options with Sam and as she still loved roses we decided to use a mixture of different types of rose. You can get some gorgeous blousy roses that are hard to tell apart from a peony. I used garden roses for Sam's bridal bouquet including Avalanche in ivory and pink and Princess Miyuki in ivory for that peony look. Sam's bouquet would be created in ivories and pinks with greenery and some gypsophila which Sam really loved. She wanted a rounded classic style but with a bit of a natural touch which would be created using different textures.

As sam had four bridesmaids she wanted to keep the bridesmaids bouquets very simple and loved just posies of gypsophila so this is what I did for them finishing the flowers off with some ivory ribbon.

We decided on a mixture of flowers for the groom and his party. There were four men in the grooms party which had an ivory rose surrounded with gypsophila and greenery and then the groom had a blush pink rose surrounded with gypsophila and greenery. I think it is always a nice touch to separate the grooms buttonhole by using a different flower or different colour. In the party there was also Sam's younger son who had a little bunch of gypsophila for his button hole.

When I met with Sam for her final consultation just before the wedding everything was still the same but she just wanted to add a couple of extra things on. Sam also arrived with her beautiful new son! The first time we met she was pregnant. Sam had seen the table plan I had created for Carlie and Toby's wedding earlier in the summer and wanted to have this design for her table plan. The personalised box is from Not On The High Street and then I add the table plans onto bamboo sticks and pop them into the box with a flower display to match the wedding flower collection. Sam also wanted a 'thank you' bouquet for her mum which would be given out in the speeches. Thank you bouquets are created in the wedding flower collection. Sam also added a few jar displays for her card table as sometimes these can look a little bare.

It was such a pleasure to work with the lovely Sam who was so relaxed the whole way through and put her trust into Isabloom at the start of our journey as a wedding florist! I received such a warm welcome from Sam and her bridal party on the morning of the wedding and have loved seeing the images of her beautiful family. I wish Mr and Mrs K all of the happiness for the future and hope to see Sam soon. Thank you for choosing Isabloom Floral Design as your wedding florist.

I was recommended isabloom floral design by a friend of mine, after my first meeting with Isabelle I instantly knew I had picked the right person, I didn’t really have a clue about wedding flowers so Isabelle talked me through everything so I had a better understanding of my options for my autumn wedding. I had in my head I wanted peony roses but unfortunately these were not in season, Isabelle then talked through my options of the closest match. We then had a final meeting again to make sure everything was perfect. Isabelle is a very organised, unique florist and you can see she has such passion for her job which I loved. When she arrived at my wedding venue with my flowers I was blown away with how amazing they were just perfection. I would highly recommend isabloom floral design for your wedding or special occasions! I will definitely be purchasing more of Isabelle’s beautiful flowers in the future. Thank you.
